
Matthew Farina
At CCHS, Matthew supports postsecondary planning as well as the college search and application process for our students.
His professional experience spans various roles in college admissions leadership including as a head of admissions and a manager of transfer admissions. He is an expert on creative college admissions and visual art portfolio preparation for college entrance.
Matthew holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership & Innovation (Ed.D.) from New York University’s Steinhardt School. He earned an MFA from the School of Visual Arts (SVA) and a BFA from the University of Pennsylvania.
Creatively inclined his whole life, Matthew is also a visual artist and a writer. His paintings and collages have been exhibited widely, including in numerous one-person exhibits. He has also curated shows, written reviews for art publications, attended several residencies, and is an award-winning children’s book author.
