Matt McPhillips

Matt has been a Sullivan County resident his entire life and attended the Homestead School from 1998-2003. He received a bachelor degree from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs and has worked in the field of State and Federal government for the past 6 years. During that time, he worked on grants, fundraising and public policy. He is a private pilot, and enjoys the outdoors, especially gardening, playing baseball, golf, and frisbee with his Australian Sheppard Willow.

I firmly believe in the Homestead School’s mission and believe that the education I received here was foundational to my development as a professional and as a person. I am excited to work alongside my colleagues to expand opportunities for more students to have that same opportunity and assist the school in fundraising to ensure longevity and sustainability.
