Liudmyla is a native Ukrainian. She came to the United States in 2022 with her husband and two sons, fleeing a full scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Liudmyla graduated from Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka with honors: in 2001 she obtained a Bachelor degree in Pedagogical Education, and in 2002 she obtained a Master’s degree in Preschool Education.

For two years after graduating from the university, Liudmyla worked as a primary school teacher. She also has experience working with preschool children, as she did many internships in kindergartens in her hometown of Lutsk.

She is interested in music and art and loves all creative work. Liudmyla finds a common language with children through games and reading.

“I feel that the ability to listen is the most important thing when communicating with a child.”
