Kathleen Balsano

Kathleen is a lower elementary teacher and has been with the Homestead School since 2000.

After high school, she attended Berkeley College graduating with honors. After working in retail and business for 11 years, she and her family moved from Long Island to Glen Spey, NY, where her children attended the Homestead School. Inspired by that, she completed her Montessori coursework and certification in Lower Elementary through the North American Montessori Center, earning a 4.0.

In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, music, reading, and baking.
