James (Jim) Sullivan is a 9-12 Certified Montessori school teacher and has been teaching Upper Elementary at the Homestead School since 2013. Jim earned a BA with Highest Honors in Architecture from the Pratt Institute. He worked in that field for many years designing high-end residential homes and hospitality projects. Jim also served as a Career Technical Training Manager at Delaware Valley Job Corps teaching teenagers and young adults. An actor involved with many local theater groups, Jim also enjoys gardening and hands-on construction of things including buildings. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance and the Liberty Free Theatre. With a long theatrical background and his love of gardening, Jim will occasionally be spotted in his garden or on a stage near you.
