Claire Price

Claire Price is an educator with her roots in theatre. With a BFA in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA in Actor Training and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Claire has used her theatre education to infuse her teaching style with creativity and compassion. Some of Claire’s notable experience includes teaching acting to international high school students at a Yale University summer program and leading Viewpoints workshops for undergraduate students at Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. That said, Claire has had the privilege of growing from her varied experiences in education with students of all different backgrounds and positionalities.

Through it all, my most treasured joy in teaching is not only sharing my knowledge with my students, but learning from my students in return. Homestead School certainly upholds this joy through its Montessori driven educational style. I am so grateful to be a part of a community that values learning together! In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside with my husband, Juan, and our dog, Phil Guthrie.
