Beth Flatley

Beth Flatley

Beth joined the Homestead School in 2020 as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Early Childhood Department. She holds a BA from Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and a Documentary Photography Certificate from The International Center of Photography School. She started her career in social work, working with homeless youth in San Francisco and continued social work in NYC. Later, she switched gears to be in a more creative professional environment doing set design and prop styling. She then transitioned to an editorial, family and wedding photographer. Beth has been an asset as a Homestead staff member, supporting the teachers and children in this wonderful open learning environment. Beth enjoys spending her time gardening, hiking and traveling with her family, and of course loves taking lots of pictures wherever she goes. She is attending Montessori Early Childhood Training at West Side Montessori this summer to become an AMS certified  and MACTE accredited Early Childhood Montessori Educator.
