Rob McCubbin

Rob McCubbin joined the Collaborative College High School (CCHS) in September of 2023 on a part – time basis as the Director of Learning Outcomes.  Rob comes to Homestead after a nearly two decade career with the New York City Department of Education.  Rob has over a decade of teaching experience in social studies education and was a school leader, as Principal and Assistant Principal, at the Academy for Careers in Television and Film, a public Career and Technical Education High School in Long Island City, Queens.

Rob has Masters degrees in Secondary Education and School Leadership from New York University and Montclair State University.

Rob is also a passionate ecological gardener and native plant enthusiast. When not working with students, you can find him planting more native plants for our local pollinators.
