Nora Jane Williams-Pelonis

Nora just recently joined the Homestead School in the lower classrooms. She received her AMI Primary degree in Montessori Education in May 2019 from the Foundation for Montessori Education in Toronto, ON, Canada. She holds an Associate’s Degree in Performance from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC and attended Seton Hill College, where she worked towards the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Theatre Performance. Nora’s teaching experience includes work at Perkins School for the Blind in Boston, MA, as well as Helen Keller Services for the Blind in Brooklyn, NY, where she worked as Assistant Teacher, Teaching Aide, and as a Substitute. She is fluent in American Sign Language.
