Pre-K & Kindergarten
Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Environmental Biology with a focus in Botany. She also received a Master of Science degree from the same university in Mycology and Forest Pathology. Jessica spent time during school traveling to Costa Rica, Africa and throughout New York State studying beetles and fungus and spent 5 years living in the northern woods of the Adirondacks and Vermont continuing to learn from the natural world.
Jessica has three children, two of which attend Homestead and she has spent the past six years staying at home taking care of her children, which is one of her favorite experiences thus far. She likes walking in the woods, trail running, knitting, reading and spending time with her family.
I am very excited to have the opportunity to work at the homestead and continue my own education through the students and wonderful teachers and staff.
