Erin Zietz
Originally from Connecticut, Erin and her family moved to New York four years ago. Her middle son began attending school at The Homestead, and it didn’t take long for her to realize what a special place the Homestead School is.
Erin has a B.S. in Exercise Science with a Minor in Sports Nutrition from the University of Connecticut. She attended Southern Connecticut State University to receive her teaching certification in Physical Education and Health. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Education, with a concentration in Adventure Education. Erin has spent many years teaching Physical Education, Health & Wellness and Project Adventure in Fairfield County, CT, where she enjoyed teaching children from the Pre K – Middle School levels. She loves to watch how students approach a challenge, work together and challenge themselves, and grow as a result of conquering fears and learning new skills.
Erin and her husband have three children attending the Homestead School. In their free time they love to travel, eat good food, and do anything outside: hike, run, play sports and spend time on the water. Erin is very excited to meet the students and watch them become confident learners.
